    Installing MS personal web server

I want to install FP 2000 on my PC running Win 98 2nd ed. I also purchased an Osborne book - Complete Reference, FP 2000.
Following the simple directions to install MSPWS, I get an error message preventing the Transaction server from being installed.
The message references an unsuccessful registry change, error #0x80004005.
Is this module necessary? How do I find out the nature of the err and what to do about resolving it? I am expecting to publish my web site on my internal LAN / Intranet.
I also believe that I can proceed to build the web site without this module. Is this correct?
    Thanks for the help

Re: Installing MS personal web server

I'm not sure how to resolve the error - but the transaction server is not necessary for the use you are proposing.
