Two Ifs make an error (Access 2000)

Can i combine into one line of condition the following
    conditions :

    If Not (Parent![Customerid] = 1) And If OfficeItems < Me!cartons * Me!pack Then
    ......
    End If

I get the message Compile error, expected : expression.

Instead of "And If", it should be just "And", like this:

    If Not (Parent![Customerid] = 1) And OfficeItems < (Me!cartons * Me!pack) Then
    ......
    End If
