    Workbook Title/Name (2002/SP3)

    Hi all,

One of our business areas is having a problem where when they open an excel file (within an application ACS (third party application?)) the worksheets have the title Object 1, Object 2, Object 3.

I haven't been able to find anything on such a title.

Any ideas what is causing this?

    I can get more info.

    TIA,

    Jimmy Lee

You should try to find out what ACS is and does.

    Re: Workbook Title/Name (2002/SP3)

When you say "when they open an excel file," are they opening an existing Excel file, or are they creating a new file? If they are opening an existing file, what are the worksheet names if they open the workbook without ACS? If they are opening a new workbook, what names do they get if they open Excel without ACS? If they get the same Object n names, then look for a template in the Excel Startup directory named Book.xlt, and remove it from the Startup directory and see what happens. If they are the normal Sheet n names, then those Object n names are probably being created by ACS and you need to contact them.
