    OfficeXP = Office2002 = Office10? (OfficeXP)

    Hello

    Just a query.

    Is OfficeXP, Office2002 & Office10 - all the same thing?

    My understanding is they are all the same thing.

    on the CD OfficeXP is what is installed. When you goto the applications help menu eg Word >Help>About Microsoft Word - it reads Word 2002. When your in Windows Explorer after the install, the directory created is Office10.

    confusing no?

    cheers diana

    You are absolutely correct.

    Office XP is "Version 2002" and v.10.xxx.

    But Windows XP is "Version 2002" and... NT 5.1 !!!

    It's not confusing, it's fascinating!
