Excel Find across all sheets (Xp)

Maybe I haven't looked in the right place - to Find all through a workbook you click on Options then change the drop-down list captioned 'Within'. This 'sticks' during the current session, but is there a way (registry or programmatically) to get Excel to open with searching the whole workbook as the default?

I do not know how to make the setting stick but you could try the free Flexfind add-in by Jan Karel <!profile=Pieterse>Pieterse<!/profile>

Thanks for that - I was aware of the Add-In. That's a v good MVP page. I would still prefer the change to stick as it's for someone not very versed in Excel.

As far as I know, it is not possible to make Find default to searching the entire workbook. The setting is not stored, and it is not exposed in VBA, so it is not possible to set it in a macro when Excel starts. Sorry.
