    Installing Spanish Dictionary (2000; sp2)

I would like to install the Spanish dictionary with spell check. Unfortunately the software is OEM and I don't know where the discs are or if I actually received any. The install update is looking for the "DATA1.MSI" file.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated,
    John

OEM versions of Office 2000 shipped on CDs with long key codes on the case/envelope/booklet. As far as I know, it is not possible to download from Microsoft.com a "stand-alone" installation for an individual Office feature (even the service packs want to read stuff off the CDs).

    Jeff,

Is it feasible that the MS Windows Update feature would provide a resolution?

    Regards,
    John

I fear not. Dictionaries are not part of any Office update I know of. Without the Office CD, there is little you can do.
