    3rd party MP3 software

When I was looking for Ogg Vorbis information a while back, I remember coming across a company that actually made replacement OS's for various models of hardware mp3 players.

That is, you would purchase this companie's software and it would actually replace the software that came on your i-This or i-That , which would give it more capabilities like that ability to play OggVorbis files (where most of my CDs are encoded).

I can't seem to find this again. Does it ring a bell with anyone else?

I've noticed that mp3 players are starting to go on sale. Probably to clear out stock before the holidays. I might actually get one.

    Found it.

"Sveta Portable Audio" by the same people that do dBpoweramp.

Sadly, it doesn't specifically support my player. But my machine is a Sandisk, so maybe it's generic-ness will help me out, and there will be some generic driver.
