    Immediate subform visibility (A2K)

    This is one of those minor items that you think you've solved before, but past solutions don't seem to apply.

    I have a subform called txtKitParts.

    I have a combo box called Part_Mstr_KitNoFlag

    The subform is to remain "invisible" if the combo box = "No"

    The subform is to become IMMEDIATELY visible if "Yes" is selected in the combo box.

    This only happens if I move to the next record and then return.

    The following is the current code I'm using.

    If ([Part_Mstr_KitNoFlag ]) = "Yes" Then
    Me.frmKitParts.Visible = True
    Else
    Me.frmKitParts.Visible = False
    End If

    As always, any help would be appreciated,
    Cheers,
    Andy

    And where is the code you posted? From your description, I suspect it's in the Current event, which won't fire until you move to another record. You need to call the same code in the AfterUpdate of the combobox.

    Charlotte,

    I swear that this is like "My dog ate my homework" because I did send you a message yesterday that said something like,

    Your suspicions were as correct as your solution. The right code in the wrong place. Another little coding gem to tuck away for future use.

    Again, thanks kindly for your help,
    Cheers,
    Andy
