Grand Total in Report (Access 2000)

I have a rptInstructorSchedule based on a qryHourlySchedule. I can get a total of the hours in the report, but can't seem to get the grand totals for some reason. Could someone take a look and see what I am overlooking here? The report will ask for parameters. You can enter for e.g. in the first box 0600929 and in the second box 10 for example and it should give you the report in Print View...however, you may see the error straight away in design view....I'm just not seeing it.
Thanks so much

The totals in the group footer for LastName and in the report footer work OK, but they aren't displayed the way you want. You have formatted both text boxes as Short Time. As all other time formats in Access, this is a clock time format, i.e. it runs from 00:00 AM to 11:59 PM (00:00 to 23:59). Unlike Excel, Access does not have a format for cumulative time (i.e. hours over 24). To display a count of hours, set the control source of the text boxes to

=24*Sum([Hours])

and set the number format to General Number.

Of course Hans has a great solution, but an alternative would have been to use the DateDiff funciton to calculate the Hours in the underlying query.
Hours: DateDiff("h",[StartTime],[EndTime])
With the calculated fields set to General Number format it would have returned the sum of hours using your original functions.
