    Summing in Reports (Access 2003)

I am trying to report on text based action points which are linked to accounting codes, however in my query where there are two action points to a single code it effectively shows the value for that code twice, which means that the totals in the query and ultimately the report are incorrect wheras the line by line (as it showing the last) is correct in the report.

Is there a simple answer to this ?

    cheers

Do you need the action points in the query?

    Hi Hans

I don't need them in the query as such but do need them in the report.

    regards

You could remove the action points from the query, and create a subreport to display them in the report. That way, they won't influence the totals in the main report.
