    Displayed To: name <address> (2002)

Up until a few weeks ago, I could enter 'Joe' in the To field, hit Cntrl-K, and up would pop 'Joe Bloggs', the entry in my PAB.

Now I am as likely to get
    'Joe Bloggs <j.bloggs@company.com>'
or even their From: address, such as
    'Bloggs, Joe CompanyName Inc <j.bloggs@company.com>'

I've searched through here (obviously without success), poked about in my options, and deleted my .nk2 file.
    What have I missed?
    TIA

    The bus?

Seriously, what happened when you deleted your NK2 file? That should have reset all the autosuggestions. Maybe you have another NCK or NK2 file you overlooked?

From the back seat of the bus, I may just have overlooked that other (two-year-old) .nk2 file that was lurking in the shadows. I've trashed them all, and as it normally takes a day or two to re-manifest itself after deleting the 'current' .nk2 file, I can't tell yet whether it's fixed, but it may be just the ticket. Thanks!

If your name Autosuggestion died as soon as you killed the lurking NK* file, then that problem is fixed. But I'm sure other problems will fill their place. (It's been a bad day; I'm working on a theory: "the hydraulics of business problems".)
