    Record Selector Combo box (Access 2000)

    I am having a little problem with a Record Selector Combo box. It collects the LastName, FirstName, CompanyName field just fine, and I also have the ContactID there but hidden in the results which is the Primary Key, no duplicates and a text field. I am attaching a graphic to show the error. Anybody have a clue what I might be doing wrong to get this error?
    i should mention I get an error # 3077 Missing syntax error when I debug

    Are you sure that the ContactID is "CF-Coastal Carolina Community College"? If so, ContactID is a text field, and you need to put quotes around the value:

    strSearch = "ContactID = " & Chr(34) & Me.cboSelect & Chr(34)

    Chr(34) is the double quote ".

    What would I ever do without you. I knew I had to manage it as a text field...just didn't know how to write it.
    Thank you Hans so very much.
