    Archive, emails (2000 /2002)

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to view archived email? Do you have to copy the folders/emails back from the archive to .pst in order to view them or is there any other way?

    Many Thanks

    skender

Select File | Open | Personal Folders File (.pst)...
Navigate to the archive file (its default name is Archive.pst) and click OK.

    Re: Archive, emails (2000 /2002)

The size of my .pst file is 450MB i have deleted lots of emails with attachments that i did not need. checked the size of the .pst by right clicking on Outlook Today folder - > Properties and then clicked ont he folder size button, it shows the size as 120, 000 kb (120mb), but when i check the pst file size on the folder that is stored i.e. Documents and settings/ skender. local settings/Application Data/Mircosoft / Outlook/Skenera.pst the file size is the same 450mb even though i have deleted those emails, does anyone have an idea how 's this possible?

    Thanks

In the Properties window, there is also an Advanced button. You can compact the .pst from the dialog that appears.

Outlook .pst files tend to grow over time, even if you delete or archive items regularly.
