    Audit Report (Access)

How do you create an Audit Report for changes that are made in an Access Database. I would like to be able to print a report or listing of any changes made to the tables in the database that would include the table the change was made to , the record or data that was changed, the date and who did it.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: Audit Report (Access)

Access does not have built-in auditing, and it does not have triggers at the table level. If you want to keep track of changes, you will have to take care of it yourself in the forms used to enter/edit data.

Access is not really suitable for fullblown auditing (keeping track of each individual change). If you need that, SQL Server is a better database management system. It's not difficult, however, to keep a simple audit trail. See <post#=493,130>post 493,130</post: > (hey, that is a reply to a question from you!)
