    Text Wrap Redux (2003/SP1)

I have read all the past postings on issues with text wrapping in a single cell. Here is is my dilema:

I have 35 cells (7 across X 5 down) that have been merged for a comments section. The first 254 characters display and print correctly. If we put 255 characters in the cell. The whole thing shows as a line of pound signs (##################).

Is there a setting that I am missing?

Cannot readily reproduce the problem. Could you attach a small demo workbook?

Format the cell as general instead of Accounting.
