You will need a TV tuner card if you want to watch TV on your PC.

I ask again, what notice?

If you have a friend who gave you this wisdom, why don't you try it and let US know if it works? Surely he/she gave you the complete instructions.

Re: vlc and television...

Going by what I read here, VLC can be used as a client for streamed media. What I think you need to do is find an internet site that is broadcasting, probably in much the same way as the BBC do here - see the Video links on the right hand side.

Otherwise, ask your friend for some IP numbers!

Sorry, I really don't follow what you are saying. A quick Google on one of thoses addresses seems to point to mainly Italian sites, and I think you may have better luck investigating those directly yourself.

Otherwise, this now appears to be a Software rather than Graphic issue, so I shall move the thread forthwith...

Re: vlc and television...

OK - I just ran the last paragraph through Babel fish and it comes up with:

You open VLC - Ctrl-F (would be the command Rows Opens Rows... [ the second ] not that simple ])
-> In the advanced case, Medium Resource Locator (MRL),
inserted this address, in order to see RAI One:
udp://@239.113.1.76:11111

So - does that not answer your original question?
