    Mail Merge/Custom fields

Outlook 2000/Word 2000. I have a custom form with user defined fields in Outlook. I programmatically import data from my accounting system. How can I used the custom fields in a mail merge?

You could try an Outlook add-in called Aladdins - Word Documents. It adds heaps of functionality to OL. As one of the developers of Aladdins I hold the belief that software should be easy to use and reduce mouse clicks when performing frequent operations rather than adding them; aladdins does this. To learn more go to to http://www.software-solutions.co.nz . It costs $20 after a 30 day trial but makes composing any documents using OL contact data a breeze.

If you base your custom form on a "contact" form, "mail merge" should be presented to you under the Tools menu. Your custom fields should be available that way.
