    Column Headings (Excel 2002)

I know that you can get the row headings to repeat on every page in Excel by going through Page Set up, apply the row which includes the headings and then click print. Is there a way to set this up so when the spreadsheet is inserted as a file into a Word document you get the headings to print on each sheet in the document? Seems to me that it should be easy to do so, but for some reason, I can't get it to work.

    Thanks.

If you paste data from Excel into a Word document as a Word table, you can set a row to repeat in Word. If you paste as an Excel object, the Excel object has no way of knowing where the page breaks in Word are, so there is no way to tell the spreadsheet to repeat a row at the top of a Word page.

You can add the "headers" to the Header in Word and it will repeat on every page. You can set the margins so they even touch, like they would in excel.
