    HP Color LaserJet 4550

    The pinter is making a squaking noise when printing a document, does nayone have any idea how to fix this problem. It is HP Color LaserJet 4550 printer and uses jetdirect and it isma network printer....

    It sounds like a bearing somewhere needs some oil, but I'd be a bit loathe to do much fiddling because of the potential of making a mess of a fairly expensive box... Perhaps a job for your friendly local printer engineer?

    Oops, sounds like you might need a service call on that baby. But, I would first do the recommended stuff in the user manual, like cleaning the paper path, making sure there's not a partial paper jam, where a torn piece of paper could be squeaking. If you do the things in the MANUAL and it doesn't stop, I'd sure see about service from HP or whatever YOUR arrangements are.
