PSP7 and Changing Colour in Images

Extremely large picture cropped to 640x480 pixels by HansV. Please don't post such large images (or zip them).

Please can someone tell me how it is possible to do this.

I have a jpeg of a green marble effect which is attached. I wish to change he green to a yellow, is this possible?

I don't remember exactly where the commands are in PSP7, but I know you can do this. Look for a way to adjust the Hue/Saturation - probably under the Color menu. This will let you tweak the base colors of the image and should yield the desired effect.

It's been a long time since I used PSP 7, but I think there was a color replacer tool in the toolbox.

Try using the "flood fill" tool?....pick a yellow...then experiment to find the degree of colour you want?

Mark's got it right... the Hue/saturation tool does exactly this, the flood fill seems to lose the picture's details, but changing the hue/saturation settings will not.

    In PSP

In order to change colours, you have to increase colour depth to 16 million.

    1) Click on colors
    2) Choose increase color depth
    3) Choose 16 million
    4) Click on colors
    5) Choose colorize... The hue changes the color and experiment with the saturation to get the colour tone you want.

OR... you can click on color
    6) Choose adjust
    7) Choose hue/saturation/lightness and experiment with colour changes there.
