    Outlook 2002

Discovered another minor irritation in the improved Outlook. In Outlook 2000, I could click on "Contacts" and then start typing a contact name. It would then jump to that area of the address book, saving me the time of going through the index. In 2002, I cannot do this without first highlighting a contact on the first page. Any fixes for this forced extra step?

that was a bug for others - normal windows behavior is to walk the folder tree to the letter and the older versions couldn't. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

if you select the folder with the mouse, the first contact should be highlighted and any letter on the keyboard should take you there. if not, hit the tab key once to shift over.
