    Printing crash (XP Pro)

I tried to print an excel spreadsheet that I have used for over 2 years (expense report) but when I tried to print my system crashes and a blue screen appears that says Bad_Pool_Header and then Stop 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0xE2FCCCB8, 0x00970400 and then dumping physical memory. Now all of my excel files crash if I try and print. I even had the crash on a Word doc that had tables in it. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    HGman

Try the suggestions in Jan Karl's starpost Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in XL .

If that doesn't help, your copy of Excel may be corrupted.

A search at microsoft.com gives a few hits that indicate it may be a hardware / driver compatibility problem

    Thanks Legare,

I will check out the link you gave me. If my copy of excel is corrupted, do you know if I can just reinstall Excel from my CD and not the whole office suite?

If Pieterse's suggestions don't work, I'd try Help | Detect and Repair from within Excel.

And yes, you can uninstall and reinstall individual Office applications through the Add or Remove Programs control panel.
