Determine Excel Version ie 97, XP or 2003 (03; SP1)

Is it possible by code to determine the version of Excel? I am familiar with "Application.Version" which in my case will return V11. I really am interested in whether or not it is 97, XP or 2003.

    Thanks,
    John

Application.Version has been available since Excel 5.

    <table border=1><td align=center>Version</td><td align=center>Val(Application.Version)</td><td align=center>97</td><td align=center>8</td><td align=center>2000</td><td align=center>9</td><td align=center>2002/XP</td><td align=center>10</td><td align=center>2003</td><td align=center>11</td></table>

    Hans,

I didn't make the connection between the value and version.

    Thanks,
    John
