    Concatenation (Access 2000)

    I got something wrong when i wanted to concatenate the word Today with the record source as :

    ="Today" & " " & =DCount("*","qrySomething","EnlistingDay=DMax(""En listingDay" ",""qrySomething"")")
    Can you help me ?

    If you use a calculated expression as control source of a text box (or other control), you must use an = at the beginning of the expression, but not arbitrarily in the middle. So there should be no = before DCount. The = inside the DCount function serves a different purpose, so you should not omit that one. Also, you can combine the first two parts into one string. Try

    <code>="Today " & DCount("*","qrySomething","EnlistingDay=DMax(""Enl istingDay"",""qrySomething"")")</code>
