    Front Page

I have been using Frontpage Express on my webpage htp://dgbrehm.home.att.net and now have Frontpage 2000. Ver 4.0.2.2717
Can't seem to get it to work like Express, and aafter reading some info on it, it looks like the Server has to be able to use Frontpage EXTENSIONS ??
    Is This Correct ??
Can't use it if it is correct ??

    Thanks

    Yes and No.

You can certainly create a website that will work on a server without the FP extensions installed, but certain FP 'features' will not work.

    Re: Front Page

I've played around with both FPEX and FP2k and it sounded to me like you might have been talking about uploading your pages, if so, the big difference between the two is that FPEX uses FTP and FP2k uses HTTP. The HTTP will only work with websites FP server extentions. FP2k will upload using FTP to sites without FP server extentions. I don't think FPEX will upload to a site using FP server extentions, but that could be because of something we have set on our server. Hope that's helpfull.
