Taskbar - open windows (Home SR/2)

    Hi All -

Suddenly, the taskbar is not showing all open windows. I have to go to Windows on Menu bar to switch. Can't figure yu what setting will fix this. I have 'Group similar taskbar buttons' unchecked.

    Thanks for your assistance.

For which application is this? If it is in one of the Office applications, check "Windows on Task Bar" in the View tab of Tools | Options in that application.

    Hans -

Sorry, it's Word 97. I don't have the Option Windows on Task Bar.

If you have more than one Word document open at the same time, you should see them as Document 1, Document 2, etc., on the taskbar. I am using Word 2003, and have an option to 'View Windows in Taskbar' in Word's Tools>Options. Perhaps there's something similar in Office 97; I don't recall.

I think Word 97 will show only a single task bar button. Word 2000 introduced separate buttons for individual documents.

Thank you, Hans. Working with different versions causes one [me] to become confused as to what's available where.
