    Subtract times (2002)

I have a cell with the date and time in A1 and the same in B1.

It says 08/11/05 21:04 in A1 and 08/11/05 20:03 in B2. I want to find the difference but when I do it with =(A1-B1)*24 I get 1.02 where did I get the other minute?

If you use the formula =A1-B1 and format the result with a time format, you'll get hours and minutes.
Your formula results in a number of hours with decimals. 1 minute = 1/60 hour = 0.0166666... hours. Rounded to 2 decimals, this becomes .02.
