    Sum Calulating function (xp/2k)

I have a form with a list of back orders from a supplier. The supplier periodically makes a payment. This payment is not always attached to specific back order , and is usually not equal to any group of orders. Therefore there is a remainder that needs to be saved and messes up the book keeping. Is there a function that could scan all the orders and figure out which combination of orders equals exactly the payment he made? I could do this by brute force, but why reinvent the wheel.
I hope this was clear, I will be happy to clarify
    Thanks

Which Numbers Sum to Target on Dick Kusleika's blog contains solutions in Excel. You could export your data to Excel, or perhaps the ideas could be applied in Access (I haven't tried it).

Thanks for the directions. I will post back if I port it to Access
