    Slide Finder PPT 2000 (UK/PPT 2000)

    Does anyone know of any way to control Powerpoints "Slide Finder" using code..... or if it even possible to call up the dialog box from VBA?

    many thanks

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    PowerPoint VBA does not directly expose the built-in dialogs, but you can use

    CommandBars.FindControl(ID:=2703).Execute

    to run the Slide Finder from code. Alternatively, if you know which slides you want to insert, you can use something like

    ActivePresentation.Slides.InsertFromFile "C:PresentationsDemo.ppt", 5, 3, 6

    This will insert slides 3 through 6 from Demo.ppt after slide 5 in the current presentation.
