    Workgroup Templates (Excel 2003)

Has something changed in how workgroup templates are accessed?
We used to set the file location in Word. Our workplace is in the process of upgrading to Office 2003. Most users still have Office 97. I have 97 plus Excel 2003, and I've noticed that I can no longer access the company's Excel templates. Word's settings are correct. Is this function no longer available? How do we share templates across 20 locations and 20 file servers? Or is this perhaps a function of mixing the Office suite versions on my machine?

As far as I know, the User Templates and Workgroup Templates folders work the same in all recent versions of Office: you set them in Word, and the other Office applications will use the same locations.
Do you have access (permissions) to the folder containing the company templates on your machine with Office 2003?

    Hans,

Thanks for the quick reply. It seems mine is the only machine acting up. We are digging into it.
