    Blank Spam (MSO 2003)

I keep getting "blank" mail -- no displayed To, From, or Subject.

However, the header data (for this particular one) shows:

    >>
    Return-Path: <Roland_Dyerchristie@der-as.dk>
    Received: from eastrmgxi06.cox.net ([61.76.227.124])

It seems as well that the data changes sporadically.

Is there any way a rule could be set up to trash mail such as this?

    Hans:

That rule specifies a particular domain....

Can you just set the rule to "if the To: and From: are empty....? If so, how do I set a rule to have just an "unless a To: or From: is here, delete it?

I cannot quite see this as an option.

    Re: Blank Spam (MSO 2003)

Oh, it works, believe me. Try re-creating that rule exactly (using your own preferred junk folder) and see whether it works for you. If you prefer not to specify your mail server, try the rule in <post#=434335>post 434335</post#>. (The reason the mail server was added is related to the Microsoft Exchange environment, as explained in <post#=441891>post 441891</post#>.)

If you have recreated either of those rules and it doesn't work, please post a screen shot of the rule and we can see whether there is something strange about the way Outlook saved it.

    Re: Blank Spam (MSO 2003)

I'm working on a sort of more general solution using VBA.

Part of the code will do filtering based on whether a particular header exists.
Due to the MSFT Exchange issue, the code will not apply to messages for which headers are not made available,
