Contacts view (2000-SR1)

I sort my contacts by category. When I open "contacts", the categories open fully expanded and my first step is "collapse all" so that I can select the category I'm after, without having to scroll the page down.
Is there any simple way to set the view so that when I open "contacts" the categories always open in collapsed view?
    Cheers

(Edited by JohnBF on 11-Nov-05 21:53. )
Under the Contact View settings, can you set "Group By" to "Categories"? (I'm looking at 2003, and not sure if "Group By" exists in Outlook 2000.) If it works in Outlook 2000 in addtion to setting it, at the bottom right corner of the dialog, you can set the expanded/collapsed View to 'All expanded', 'All collapsed' or 'As last viewed'.

    Thanks John - perfect!
Your suggestion works exactly as you described and I now have the view I want on opening "Contacts" - much appreciated.
