Control from one form to update a second form (XP)

From the Data Entry, there is a control which opens a second form - the Prepaid Form.

Data Entry form is based on one query - MainQry
Prepaid form is based on two queries

If the user closes the Prepaid form after entering data, the value of the text box is not available any more. You could update the value when you close the Prepaid form:

    Private Sub Form_Unload(Cancel As Integer)
    Forms!MainForm!txtSomething = Me!PrePdTax
    End Sub

    withe the appropriate names substituted.

    Thanks.

Sorry, typing with one hand - sliced my finger open this morning and now have 10 stitches

Yes, I should hit myself over the head. Sorry to be so dense but between the fact that I was never good at such code and the fact that I'm on a pain killer for the cut that almost severed my finger yesterday, I am not quite with it.

One more time, you have helped me out of a jam; this was exactly what I needed and works perfectly.

    Thanks, Hans
