    HotDog?

Anyone out there still using or ever used HotdogPro from www.sausage.com ?
I love their program, but for a long time, they seem to be out of business, even though their web URL is up and running. Their forum is down and they don't respond to any e-mails at all.

If in fact they are gone, what does everyone recommend for a fair WYSIWYG editor? I had paid for HotDog, and don't really want to pay for another. Is Frontpage the editor of choice now? I do have a version of it, but have never used it.

There was a recent discussion in Software finds and wants about good <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15> HTML Editors. Look at <!post=HTML Teacher / Editor / Viewer,530740>HTML Teacher / Editor / Viewer<!/post> for some ideas that came about

Thanks! I'll check out that thread.

Curious too if anyone still uses HotDog and if anyone knows if they went out of business or what happened to them.

Strange as it may seem, a Google for "<code>hotdog what happened</code>" brings up What Happened to Hot Dog? at Tek-Tips.com as the first hit.

    Re: HotDog?

Yeah, I guess so. I've used HotDog for a few years because I didn't like Homesite. But, I'm not a frequent user and haven't had any upgrade needs so I didn't know about all of this news. As with some other computer software, it happens, huh? I guess I'll just leave my HotDog 7.01 installed until I have some greater need.

I've used HD for many many years. I guess it's time to move on. Hate to use software that's not supported.
I think I'm going to give CoffeeCup a try....
