DLink wireless router and notebook connection

Hi I have a DLink DI524 wireless router (on a desktop machine) and a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 notebook with built-in wireless card. I am wondering how I can connect the notebook to the DI524 using the Toshiba built-in wireless card.

    Thanks

There are plenty of guides around, such as this PCStats article. You may also find some help in your D-Link manual, or from their Tech Support pages.

(Edited by NYIntensity on 09-Dec-05 17:35. Bought a laptop, found more info....)
Your notebook should have automatic detection capability...if you've applied WEP security, of course, you will have to enter the key, but it should automatically configure. Have you configured the router? I use a DLink wireless router, I know one of the first few things I did was enter an IP address and configure it...

    >>Edit: I just bought a new laptop, and there is actually a button I have to press to activate the wireless connector within the notebook....
