    Headers/Footers using link (Excel 2000)

In File, Page Setup, Custom header, I need the left header to link to a cell in another sheet in the file. I think I need a formula to link the information. Something like: =Sheet1!A5. Is it possible to create a formula to be used in page setup. I could not find anything in your Search. Thank you.

You can't use formulas in the header or footer. Instead, you can create a Workbook_BeforePrint event procedure in the ThisWorkbook module (not in a worksheet module or in a standard module) to set the header just before the workbook is printed or print previewed. For example:

    Private Sub Workbook_BeforePrint(Cancel As Boolean)
    Worksheets("Sheet3").PageSetup.LeftHeader = Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A5")
    End Sub
