    I've never actually used XP, but I know that the email address/fax number has been a problem in Office 2000 as well. According to Microsoft (I actually had to call and ask this for a user), it is a "feature" to be prompted to use either the fax number or the email address. This is for those few users that actually send faxes by sending an email. It was not possible to make the fax field not be recognized in 2000, but I don't know that they fixed it in XP (I don't think that they would, since they don't view it as broken).

    We had our users move their Fax numbers to other fields (most moved them to the comments section on the bottom), but that's all we could do. <img src=/S/igiveup.gif border=0 alt=igiveup width=31 height=23>
