    MS OneNote 2003 (2003)

Has anyone worked with OneNote? Browsing the MS Sites I happened to come across this feature. It does not come with Office 2003, but seems to have to be purchased seperately. Is it worth the purchase?

This is a topic that has come up a number of times before. If a General Search on the Lounge has not answered your question, what is your specific interest? HTH

Yesterday was the first day I came across OneNote. I guess the first impressions was that it was a new feature. I did not even consider doing a search for it. I will follow your advice and see what the lounge has to offer info wise. Tx
I initially just wanted comments from other loungers as to their impressions of the product and if it was worth a buy!

    Re: MS OneNote 2003 (2003)

I tried it for about a week, having gotten a copy at a TS2 seminar, and was impressed with what I saw, but really had no use for the program. My note taking system doesn't translate very well into the OneNote formats, although I could probably adapt to most of it. Still, it seemed a lot of trouble to go to. But, for someone who has never spent a lot of time taking notes (and who hasn't developed a personal note-taking system), OneNote might work splendidly. For me, OneNote fell flat.

There doesn't seem to be a separate forum for OneNote, having tried so many note managers this looks to be the best. That aside I found this web page and it is so simple it seems a scam but it works, follow the instructions and the result is amazing.

    http://www.psychpage.com/onenote_dressup/index.html

I also considered the "Software Finds & Wants" to make the post, but it is hardly software.

Until OneNote traffic gets much, much heavier - this is the best Forum for OneNote posts.

Interestingly enough, http://www.psychpage.com/ resolves to http://www.microsoft.com/.
