opening access on a networks (2002/SR3)

I keep one of my databases on a Network drive. For some reason, Access has started to get neurotic about opening it., and announces 'Microsoft Access cannot open this file'. I'm told it's located outside my intranet or on an untrusted site. Normally it works.fine. Has anyone any idea what on earth is going on?

    many thanks

    First, try the following:
    - Right-click the database (.mdb file) in Windows Explorer.
    - Select Properties from the popup menu.
    - Does the Properties contain a button labeled Unblock? If so, click it.

If there is no Unblock button, see Intranet site is identified as an Internet site when you use an FQDN or an IP address
