    Text to Table (2000/203)

I have a list of items that is copied and pasted below a two-column table.
Each item is a separate paragraph ending with a paragraph marker.
How to I create a macro to convert the list into a two column table like the one above it (if possible) so that the list appears in the left column only?
Currently, when I use the convert text to list option, the list is divided into the two columns with the items divided into the two columns.
    Regards

    Try this:

    Select the paragraphs
    Edit Replace
    Find What: ^p
    Replace With: ^t^p
    OK
Table > Convert > Text to Table
    Separate text at > Tabs
    OK

    Select the list of items.
Select Table | Convert | Text to Table...
Specify Tabs in the section 'Separate text at'.
Increase the number of columns in the 'Table size' section to 2 (you MUST do this after selecting Tabs).
Select 'Fixed column width' (and Auto) in the 'AutoFit behavior' section.
    Click OK.
