    Grouping (2003)

I used the wizard to build a report to print labels (business card, actually). What I want is a card that displays the name and SSN of each member of the family and then to list the medications each person takes. The data source is a query. The name and SSN are in a group header; the list of medications appears in the detail section. What I want is one card for each person that displays ALL the medications that person takes. What I'm getting is one card for each medication. How do I fix this?

Attached to <post#=301,393>post 301,393</post#> you will find the code for a custom function named Concat. You can copy this code into a module. Make sure that you have a reference to the Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library in Tools | References...

You can create a query that groups records on SSN and concatenates the medications for that SSN using the custom function. You can use this query as record source for a label report.
