    timetracker (2000)

    Hi
Is there something I can use instead of Vlookup for my time?
    I have attached the worksheet.
The first worksheet is the actual hours/minutes worked.
Our pay is based on a 15-minute rule, so the 2nd worksheet (Time Clock) is the hours we get paid for. The 2nd worksheet is mostly made up of formulas. Everything worked great until now they have changed it to a 6-minute rule my Vlookup table is going to triple is size. Is there something else I can use?
    Please help
    Thanks

You can do this without a lookup table. Enter the following formula in cell D6 on the Time Clock sheet:

    =INT('Actual hours'!D6*240+0.33334)/240

One day (Excel's unit of time measurement) is 1440 minutes, so 6 minutes is 1/240 of a day. The 0.33334 corresponds to 1/3 of a 6 minute period (plus a tiny bit to take care of rounding errors)
