You can set the home page in the General tab of Tools | Internet Options...

The home page was probably hijacked by some kind of malware. See Anti Adware, Spyware, Hijack for an overview of software (much of it free) that you can use to protect your PC against such malware.

Sounds like a browser hijack. What antivirus, antispyware and firewall programs are you running and what is your OS ???

Check Tools > Internet options > Home page.
If it shows something different to the "findyourassets" url, then what happens if you change it?
If your Home page is set to something else, or it keeps reverting to "findyourassets", then it sounds like you have been hijacked. Check the Spyware posts in the Other Star Posts index, particularly the Tutorials & Links to Detection & Removal Tools and Anti Adware, Spyware, Hijack posts.

I installed Ad-Aware SE. This should resolve the problem?

Installing AdAware in itself won't resolve any problems. You must check for updates and run a system scan regularly, and remove any nasties found. I'd recommend also installing and running other anti-spyware applications, such as Spybot Search and Destroy and SpywareBlaster (all free).

If you could answer our questions and provide us with more information about your system, we would be better able to assist you.

As Hans said, simply installing one of the products mentioned in those Star Posts will not solve your problem. You need to get at least 2 or 3 of the programs and then read and follow the instructions provided in the tutorials that were linked to in those posts. Browser hijacks can be one of the more difficult problems to resolve and clear from your system and may require assistance from a specialized forum and a team of experts versed in the use of certain programs. With malware, it's best to avoid the problems. Once they take hold, it can sometimes be difficult to get them out.

If you are running XP I'd recommend that in addition to the others you install Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) Home. It is

I personally am a fan of Sunbelt Software's CounterSpy. It's worth the small fee for all the wonders that it does.

You will probably find that antispyware packages, like antivirus programs, each have a coterie of dedicated fans. I can't speak to them all -- I once used what is now Microsoft Antispyware, but Microsoft has diluted the original product into worthlessness. Ad-Aware is also a former shadow of itself.

ZoneAlarm Security Suite is also a good all-in-one package to correct the problem you are having and keep it trouble free, although I swore ZoneAlarm off a few years ago due to the problems it caused in our network.
