What i would like to have is a 2gig part (w/98 se) and then a 13 gig part(rest of drive)(for 2k pro)
This is what i have:
a 2gig part w/ 98 se (on the c: drive)
13 gigs of nothing (not even seen by compt)
and a 60 gig win 2k (on the d: drive)
**note i wanted to use the 60 gig drive as data storage only**
whats the best way to remove win 2k ?
and what can i do to activate the 13 gigs of dead space on the 1st harddrive
note-when i went to install 2k it saw the d: drive (and i had assumed to was the rest of the 1st harddrive but it was actually the other drive) but not the leftover space on the c: drive

Re: drive/os difficulties
The best way to remove win2k?
Remove the non-dos partition using fdisk from a Dos command prompt.
The 60 gig is probably a hidden partition, and if unhided only would show up under win2k, winME or win98,dependant on what file system it is formattet to. (NTFS, FAT32, FAT and so on). IT'll defenitely not show up under the DOS-prompt.
Now for partition works, the best utility you can get for a reasonable price is Partition Magic (I believe it's up to version 6 now). With this you can move, resize, convert and do a lot of other stuff to your harddisk that would take you for ages to complete without.
