    Default Font (XP)

Can I change the default data entry font from Arial 8 points to Times New Roman 12 points? I know how to do this in Word and Excel through the tools menu but I cannot find that option in Project.

You can't set a default font in MS Project. You can create a template with your favored settings, however, and use that for all new projects. See FAQs

To Specify the default font for a view
On the Format menu, click Text Styles.
In the Item to Change box, make sure that All is selected.
Select the font, font style, and font size in the Font, Font Style, and Size boxes.

The new default font is applied in the current view only. To use the font settings of this view in new projects, you can use the Organizer (Organizer: The tabbed dialog box in which you can copy custom views, tables, filters, grouping definitions, calendars, reports, forms, toolbars, maps, field attributes, and VBA modules to other documents and to other users.) to copy that view into the global file (global file: A Project file [Global.mpt] that contains information you can use for different projects. Information in a global file can include views, calendars, forms, reports, tables, filters, toolbars, menu bars, macros, and options settings.).

To change the settings in the Global.mpt
Select Organizer from the Tools menu
Copy the new view or table from the current project into the Global.mpt file.
