    Easy date entry (A2002)

I am looking for a simple way to enter a date within a control on a form (form is datasheet). Right now I have the control set as a text box with an input mask. The problem is that if the user clicks anywhere other then the far left position, the date entry doesn't work. Does anyone know of a way to enter a date and make it pretty fool proof?

    Thanks,
    Mark

I don't like input masks. I use a text box whose Format property is set to a date format - Short Date works well, or dd-mmm-yyyy (25-Nov-2005) if you want a format that will be understood both in the USA and in for instance the UK. The user can enter the date in any way Windows understands, and invalid dates will be refused.
You could also use the Calendar control. If you don't want the calendar to be displayed all the time, see the demo attached to <post:=441,897>post 441,897</post:>.
