    Sorting based on the last date (Access 2000)

    I want to sort the products in my combo box based on the last date.I mean when i open the combo box, the products that are shown first should be the products that have been chosen on the last date.I have the following row source of the combo box :
    SELECT [products].[Productid], [products].[grade] FROM products;
    Since i do not have a field for the last date in my table "products", i have created a control in the form called LastDate with control source = Date().Can i sue this control as a criteria?
    is it possible at all to put some criteria for sorting?

    You say "products that have been chosen on the last date". Is the information on which date a product has been chosen stored in any table in your database? If so, please provide details. If not, I don't see how you could do what you ask.

    No,it is not stored.I understand now it is not possible.Then i will have a recourse to the Search posibility, but since thus will represent quite a new question, i will send a new thread.
    Thank for your comments
