    Mainframe FTP to Excel (2003)

    One of our mainfram guys uses HEX5 in an FTP file to force a new Excel column. Now he wants to force a new sheet/tab. Is there a HEX code for that?
    He also wants to set Excel's column widths from the FTP file. Any ideas?

    Ted

    Not my area of expertise but I found a link to Writing data to an Excel file

    A part of the code at the bottom of the page says:

    WBName = oExcel.ActiveWorkbook.Name 'get workbook name
    <span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #000000; font-weight: bold"> WBSheet = oExcel.ActiveWorkbook.ActiveSheet 'Create Sheet object</span hi>
    WBSheetName = WBSheet.Name() 'get worksheet name
    WBSheet = oExcel.Workbooks.Item(WBName).Worksheets("HEX data")
    WBSheet.Activate() 'Activate the sheet to be written to

    Does this help you with your enquiry?
