    Embed Powerpoint 'handout' into Word document (2002)

    Does anyone know whether it is possible to take a Powerpoint presentation and embed it into a Word document in the form of a Powerpoint "handout", in this case six slides to a Word document page? We've tried a variety of methods, all of which have failed more or less miserably!

    You could use File | Send To | Microsoft Word..., first or second option, to export the presentation to Word. You get 3 slides to a page. If the number of slides is limited, it's not hard to delete the text columns and rearrange to pictures to 6 per page.

    Jefferson Scher has posted a macro in <post:=134,611>post 134,611</post:> to resize the pictures; perhaps you can tweak it for your purposes.

    Yes, I've just come across the "Send to Word" option by attacking various Help options. Next step is to manipulate the page the slides into a 3 rows x 2 columns format, with the slides expanded to almost 1/6th of the page!

    I'll see if Jefferson's macro will help here...

    Isn't it amazing what hides within these Office programs...?

    I have a different macro which creates a "6-up" HTML Page (the slides are 1-2, 3-4, horizontally). Since you can open HTML into Word and then save as a DOC, you could try that one too. (If I can still find it... haven't used it for 15 months.)
