    Reminders from a second mailbox

PROBLEM: We are trying to create a group calendar solution in which several users can create appointments in. Is ther anyway to have such a group calendar send reminders for all the users who have been given permissions to that calendar?

I know that reminders will not pop-up from any subfolders under tasks or Inbox. And it seems that even if I add a second mailbox under the services advanced options and set to "also open this mailbox" , appointments saved in the top level folders of that secondary mailbox DO NOT display reminders.
Are reminders ONLY available from a users "home" mailbox? Any suggestions?
we are Running Exchange 5.5 and Office/Outlook 2000

    thanks,

We have a similar set up for my department. I set up "appointment meetings" on the group calendar with my personal calendar profile so that the appointment shows on both calendars - with or without reminders. Hope this helps!

Re: Reminders from a second mailbox

Our best solution was to set up team folders in public folders. If the user initiates the item there, they are prompted to send to the personal calendar. I haven't fully investigated how well changes to items get synchronized...

Otherwise, there are a number of group calendar solutions on www.slipstick.com that might be worth a look
